If you want to modify a second machine with an ACT Tuner that has already been used to modify a previous machine the following steps need to be taken:
These are the same steps that you need to take when you want to modify a machine again after it got an update from the dealer or manufacturer.
Every ACT Tuner is locked to only one machine.
The ACT Tuner needs to be unlocked and reset.
This unlock costs $300,-
If the unlock is performed this ACT Tuner can no longer be used to flash the previously modified machine back to stock or to write modified file on to it.
We recommend purchasing a second ACT Tuner for a second machine since you won't loose the possibility to work on the first machine with the previously purchased ACT Tuner.
