On John Deere Tractors with the top speed limited to 40km/h it is possible to change max speed to 50km/h.
To do that the following steps need to be followed.
First step:
Find out what ECU model your machine has L14, L21 or L33
Second step:
Check if the Tractor has a manual or an automatic gearbox.
Third step:
If the Tractor has a manual gearbox just read the software as you normally would and upload it on Tuning24 and choose the method (John Deere v-max change) This does not work for L33 or L21 ECU equipped tractors.
If the Tractor has an automatic transmission and a L14 ECU you need to get the UIC (pld file from John Deere Server) you get this File from a John Deere Service advisor, this file will then also be written with the John Deere service advisor.
If the Tractor has an automatic transmission and a L21 or L33 ECU you need to get the CHAS (pld file from John Deere Server) or bundle file you get this File from a John Deere Service advisor, this file will then also be written with the John Deere service advisor.
Important:
Tractors with manaul transmission can get a vmax change through normal means.
With automatic transmissions the files from the John Deere service advisor are mandatory.
Fourth step (applies only to Tractos with automatic transmission:
Send the UIC file (if L14) to Tuning24 and choose the method (John Deere v-max change)
Send the CHAS or bundle file (if L21 or L33) and choose the mothod (John Deere v-max change)
Fifth step:
Wait a few minutes until the the automatic fileservice or our programmer are finished and Download the modified File.
Sixth step:
Write the modified v-max change software to your Tractor, either with the John Deere service advisor if it is an automatic gearbox machine or your regular flash tool if it has a manual gearbox.
