Please follow these steps to do a Brand change request on your ACT Tuner
(Please note that this will only work if the device has not yet been used to read any vehicle)
First open your ACT Tuner Client Software on your computer,
then click on File in the top left corner.
Then click on "Forced reset / Brand change request.
Click on "yes" in the small window that pops up.
Click on "OK" in the next window, the Brand change request is now confirmed.
Inform us as support@tuning24.org that the Brand change request has been performed.
A short while later you will receive a confirmation from us that you can now update your ACT Tuner.
(The update is mandatory to use the correct functions specific to your vehicle)
To update the ACT Tuner click on "Update"
Make sure that both boxed on the left are checked and then click "OK" to start the updating process.
The Brand change is now processed.
You can now go to your vehicle and read the original software as described in the manual found on the USB stick that comes with the ACT Tuner.
