The BitBox Isuzu Transtron Bench Tool is a specialized solution for professionals working with Isuzu engines equipped with Transtron Engine Control Modules (ECMs).

This tool enables efficient bench-mode operations, allowing direct connection to ECM pins without the need to open the control module, as required by some other tools like Trasdata.


To read or program a Transtron ECM from an Isuzu engine, you’ll need the following three components:


1. BitBox Transtron Bench Tool

BitBox Bench Tool USB dongle

2. Tactrix Open Port 2.0

Tactrix Open Port 2.0 interface

3. Universal ECU Bench Cable

Universal OBD ECU Bench Cable


If you already own a Tactrix Open Port 2.0 or Universal ECU Bench Cable (e.g., for use with the PCM Flash Tool), you don't need to purchase these items again.


This tool is ideal for professionals dealing with Isuzu engines commonly found in construction machinery, including:

  • Case Excavators
  • Hitachi Excavators
  • John Deere Excavators
  • Kawasaki Loaders
  • Sany Excavators
  • Link-Belt Excavators


If you're planning to perform a DEF/Urea/AdBlue delete, you'll also need to read, program, and modify the ACM (Aftertreatment Control Module). This must be done using Trasdata in bench mode.



How to use the BitBox Isuzu Transtron Bench Tool:


When your BitBox order arrives please connect the dongle along with the Tactrix adapter to your computer.
Send us TeamViewer ID and Password from your computer, we then connect to it and do the installation and setup of the tool.

Once the installation and setup is done from our side click on "Select Vehicle / ECU"

Then choose the Transtron module (FID 280) and click on "Help" to open the connection manual.

Once you've opened the manual look for the connection guide for your specific ECU module. On some models you can see the ECU name on the label. If that's not the case, compare the controller pins to the pictures in the manual.


!!ATTENTION!!
THE CAN-L WIRE IS GREY ON THE UNIVERSAL ECU BENCH

CABLE, NOT BLUE LIKE IN THE BITBOX MANUAL!!

Make sure that the switches on the Universal ECU Bench Cable are like shown in the photo.
Top switch left
Middle switch right
Bottom switch right

Top switch left middle switch right bottom switch right


Once all wires and the power is connected click on "Read" to start the reading process

THE READING PROCESS CAN TAKE UP TO 2 HOURS!!

Click on read in BitBox program

If the machine you are working on uses DEF, don't forget to do the ACM as well with the Dimsport Trasdata.
It is required for the delete to work.
